The fees we charge in our services can be broken down into two categories:
- Service fees we charge for our experts' time and resources.
- Money we pay on your behalf for the service you are utilizing.
The first category we can offer discounts on throughout the year. The second category we cannot offer any discounts, since in those cases we do not take any part of that money. Below you can see pricing breakdowns of exactly what we can and cannot discount in our various services.
All our discounts, including membership discounts, apply to any previously discounted amounts in the following order:
Cover Song Licensing
($16.99 Service Fee per song / per format) + (Royalties)
For our Cover Song Licensing service, we can offer discounts on our $16.99 service fee. Because we pay 100% of royalties to their respective copyright holders, we cannot offer any discount on that amount.
Custom Licensing
($299 Service Fee per 5 songs) + (Custom negotiated fees charged by the rightsholders + 30% Commission).
For our Custom Licensing service, we can offer discounts on the service fee you pay. For any custom negotiated fees that the copyright holder chooses to charge in a Custom Licensing project, we have a 30% administrative commission added. Beyond that, we do not keep any part of the fee and cannot provide any discount on behalf of the publisher.
Copyrighting
($99 Service Fee per filing) + (Federal Filing Fees for the number of copyright filings required)
For our Copyrighting service, we can offer discounts on the $99 service fee you pay for each copyright filing we perform. For your Federal Filing Fees, we cannot offer any discount because we pay those directly to the Copyright Office.
Publishing
($99 Service Fee for initial signup and up to 10 songs) + ($9 Service Fee per additional song after signup)
For our Publishing service, we can offer discounts on all service fees associated with registering your songs for royalty collection. However, we cannot discount our share of the royalties we collect for you.
