What if a track is a cover song?

Cover song licensing is built in. When you mark a track as a cover, we add a cover song license for it at checkout. The license lets stores sell your cover as a download in the United States. The songwriters' royalty on each download is set by U.S. law and comes out of your download earnings, so you don't pay it up front.

Does it cost anything to make changes?

After your release is approved, you can change titles, artist names, credits, genres and the label at no charge. Changing the audio, cover art, track list, ISRC, UPC or original release date means a new release, which is a new order. See What Can I Change After I Submit My Release?

Can I get a refund?

Distribution fees are non-refundable, including for releases that are later taken down or replaced. Cover song licenses follow our Cover Song Licensing refund rules. The full details are in our Refund Policy.
