Yes, you can move music you released somewhere else. Create a new release here with the same details your music has now. Once it's live with us, take it down at your old distributor.
What do I need before I start?
Collect these from your prior release:
- the release's UPC (or EAN),
- each track's ISRC,
- the original release date.
How do I move my release?
- Start a release with the same audio, release title, track titles and artist name.
- Answer Yes to Has this release been previously released? and enter the Original release date. Stores use it to list your music as catalog rather than a new release.
- Enter your UPC or EAN on the release, and each ISRC on its track.
- When asked about artist profiles, match your existing Spotify and Apple Music profiles to help stores put the release on your current artist page.
- Check out. See How Much Does Easy Song Distribution Cost?
- Once your release shows Live, take it down at your old distributor. If you take it down earlier, your music will be missing from stores until your submission goes live.
What should I double-check?
You can't change the codes or the original release date after you submit. Use the same audio, because a new mix or master is a different recording and needs a new ISRC.
